1:1 CONCERTS© defy the corona crisis, create powerful artistic spaces and raise solidarity donations supporting musicians in distress.
What is a 1:1 CONCERT?
In a 1:1 CONCERT, 1 musician and 1 listener meet for 10 minutes of music. This "blind date" at unusual concert venues is a surprise for both sides: the artist, composer, work and instrument are not revealed before the encounter. The musician decides individually and situationally during the mutual gaze which piece will be played: a wordless eye contact is the impulse for a very personal concert at eye level - an intense shared experience. 1:1 CONCERTS conquer new terrain outside the classic concert hall by exploring unusual venues: an art gallery, a swimming pool, an allotment garden or even a cocktail bar - any place can be transformed into a stage. Also, private hosts are offering their spaces and premises for 1:1 CONCERTS and accompany the listeners emotionally.
Free admission - for a good cause!
Attending at a 1:1 CONCERT is always free of charge - the voluntary donations of the listeners go to the non-profit organisation 1:1 CONCERTS e.V. or other charitable projects. The donations are used to support artists who have lost their income due to the cancellation of all performances due to the corona and are threatened in their existence.
