EVERYTHING ULTRA at the Beethovenfest 2025 25. May 2025

Following the great success of our small but appealing concert format at the Beethovenfest 2024, in which we set the German constitution to music exploring the theme of ‘togetherness’, this year we’ve launched our new project 1:1 Ultra. Together with the Friends of the Beethovenfest we have started an exciting community project that focuses on the dialogue between young and old - in the spirit of the Friends of the festival, the ‘ultras’, and of our ULTRA format.

On 27 April, we met in the Emporensaal of the Godesburg for our first workshop. In a relaxed atmosphere over coffee and cake, we got to know each other, shared our best Beethovenfest memories and began to brainstorm together for ‘ultra locations’ in Bonn - special places where we could performed our 1:1 CONCERTS. The ideas were as diverse as they were surprising: from skyscrapers to catacombs, from delivery rooms to crematoriums - nothing seemed too crazy to be ruled out as a concert venue.

The intergenerational dialogue was particularly rewarding: Five young Beethovenfest fans were there as well as experienced members of the circle of friends. This resulted in a lively exchange, which forms the heart of our project. In the coming weeks, we will continue to explore the most exciting venues and make concrete enquiries as to where we can bring our music to life.

The first workshop was a huge success and showed just how lively and creative the Beethovenfest community is. We look forward to the next steps and many unforgettable 1:1 ULTRA moments at Beethovenfest 2025! Stay tuned!
