On 8th October 2022, as part of the eighth Festival Passions Baroques, 1:1 CONCERTS were performed for the first time in the picturesque town of Montauban in Southern France. The "tête-à-tête concerts" took place in the Musée Ingres - surrounded by impressive baroque paintings from the 17th century.

In addition to the many concerts of the festival programme, many small 1:1 CONCERTS were played every quarter of an hour throughout the day. The listeners enjoyed the baroque cello sound of Sophie Castellat and Étienne Mangot. As a host, festival director Sylvie Couralet herself accompanied the individual listeners to their tête-à-tete.

I love the concept of 1:1 CONCERTS, the format was incredibly enriching for us.... We are looking forward to next time!
