Heilbronn Premiere am 17. September
16. September 2022
#Hauptstadt der Folgenlosigkeit
Together with musicians from the Württemberg Chamber Orchestra and the independent scene, the 1:1 CONCERTS will conquer Heilbronn - the capital of inconsequence - on 17 September: The year-long discursive art and urban development project seeks answers to the question of how we want to live in the future against the backdrop of pressing challenges such as climate change and global inequality. Numerous actors and Heilbronn institutions as the "Alliance of the Consequenceless" organise a series of exhibitions, readings, concerts, festivals, etc., all revolving around not (doing) and avoiding. At the centre of the urban spectacle is a citizens' scholarship as an experiment in joyful omission - the "Scholarship for Doing Nothing". The two artistic directors of 1:1 CONCERTS e.V., Franziska Ritter and Christian Siegmund, bring the 1:1 CONCERTS to Heilbronn within this framework: "Music as an immaterial art form seems at first to be inconsequential in its fleetingness, because it fades away in space. Inconsequential? From our point of view, that cannot be its intention, because music is never without consequences: it can touch, it challenges, it moves, it connects, it creates resonance!"
On 17 September, unusual venues that stand in the tension field of inconsequence will be transformed into artistic places of power for one day - whether a financial institution, a bio-garden or a city archive - ecologically inconsequential, but emotionally all the more consequential. The personal 1to1 concerts will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Admission is free, donations requested.
