On July 29, 2025, 1:1 CONCERTS took place again as part of the DeltaChamber Music Festival in Spain. This year, they were held exclusively for patients of the Santa Creu de Jesús hospital, thereby focusing even more strongly on people who cannot simply "go to a concert" themselves.

From July 21 to August 3, 2025, the DeltaChamber Music Festival transformed the Terres de l’Ebre region into a space for chamber music, encounters, and artistic experiments. Centered around clarinettist Laura Ruiz Ferreres, the Delta Chamber Soloists create a diverse program each year featuring concerts, workshops, an academy, and social projects. In this festival landscape, 1:1 CONCERTS have become an established component, complementing the public concert formats with a deliberately quiet, personal counterpoint.

Social Heart of the Festival

1:1 CONCERTS are part of the DeltaChamber Music Festival's social commitment. The festival has already worked with initiatives for people with Alzheimer's and their relatives in previous years. In 2025, patients of the Jesús hospital were now at the center to offer them an inclusive musical experience.

For the festival team and the musicians, these one-on-one moments form the emotional core of the work: They make it directly tangible how music enables communication beyond language and fosters community in the smallest conceivable format.

Continuation of a Partnership

With the 2025 edition, the DeltaChamber Music Festival continues the 1:1 CONCERTS format, which has shaped the festival's program in Catalonia since 2020. Clarinettist Laura Ruiz Ferreres, who was already involved in the first 1:1 concerts in 2019 at Kloster Volkenroda in Thuringia, organizes and oversees this annual edition of 1:1 CONCERTS in Spain.
