In July, students of the MA Digital Narratives in Cologne developed prototypes for a digital extension for the 1:1 concert experience. One of these prototypes will now be the protagonist at the Long Munich Night of Museums: on October 16, Christina Kinne-Menardi will present her light installation.

Digital artist Christina "XaosPrincess" Kinne uses innovative technologies such as Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence or Brain Computer Interfaces to make art experiences experienceable in a new light. Together with the freelance violinist Valentina Cieslar, Christina has developed the light installation BRAIN CONTROLLED LIGHTS. For the Science & Fiction Festival, the two artists combine their fields of inspiration: The light installation set up in the Deutsches Museum makes it possible to experience the emotional inner world of the audience:inside during a classical violin concert by redirecting their brain waves via an EEG headset to colorful LED strips that define the performance space.
