Our "young talent" work continues! We love to explore the 1:1 format in all its facets with students. With the filmhochschule Köln we conquered digital spaces in 2021, with the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts we have a long cooperation and now we have expanded the disciplines again:

10 students of dance, music, directing and acting were once again able to try out the format of interdisciplinary 1:1 PERFORMANCES thanks to a scholarship from the GFF Gesellschaft der Freunde und Förderer der HfMDK e.V.. In April a long series took place in our new venue "Die Fabrik", Kulturwerk in the heart of Sachenshausen. Dancer Ariadni Agnanti reports:

The feeling I always had during these performances was this transformation: before I start, I don't feel the same; after dancing for a person, seeing their unique reactions and appreciation, I become really emotional and respectful for them and for myself.

Students can gain important experience for their artistic careers, musician Aurelia Toriser sums it up this way:

The 1:1 PERFORMANCES made me feel how special the interaction between sender and receiver is, if you allow it and open yourself to it.How good this little journey out of the hectic, capitalistically oriented everyday life into a world of mutual attention in the here and now does us all. We don't have to talk to communicate and feel addressed. Attention and personally dedicated art say enough!

Schauspielerin Nora Solcher liest und spielt Texte von u.a. Lausund, Hillesum, Shakespeare und eigene Texte - individuell für jeden Gast ausgewählt.
