On Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM, there is a unique opportunity for an acoustic exploration at the Industrial Museum Chemnitz. Together with musician and sound artist Jonas Urbat, participants can embark on an expedition through the exhibition, the collection, and behind the scenes. Equipped with microphones, recording devices, and headphones, we will explore the soundscape of industrial culture. This discovery journey is part of the project UN:HEARD SOUNDS of INDUSTRY. The recorded sounds and tones will be woven into an artwork by Jonas Urbat during a sound performance at the Industrial Museum on August 16, which will be presented to the public.
