Face the music - with Kammerakademie Potsdam Kammerakademie Potsdam 07.07. - 08.07.2023

Alma-Sophie studied with Troels Svane at the MH Lübeck and with Reinhard Latzko in Vienna. In 2016 she became deputy principal cellist of the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, and since 2022 she has been a member of the KAP. Link

Christoph, born in Berlin, studied in the class of Prof. Klaus Thunemann at the HfM "Hanns Eisler" Berlin. Since 2006 he has been principal bassoonist of the KAP and a member of the Persius Ensemble. Link

Christoph, born in Leipzig, studied at the HfM in Leipzig with Klaus Schwenke. He was deputy principal violist of the Berlin Symphony Orchestra.  In addition to his work as principal violist of the Kammerakademie Potsdam, Christoph Starke is a member of the Finsterbusch String Trio and the Kammersymphonie Berlin. Bettina, a native of Dresden, studied flute at the conservatories in Weimar and Dresden, and later with Trevor Wye in England. She has been the orchestra's flutist since the Kammerakademie was founded in 2001. Link

Avner, born in Israel, lives in Berlin and is a passionate orchestra and chamber music musician, e.g. with the KAP, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Munich Chamber Orchestra - he is also active as a teacher. Link

Florian studierte bei Prof. V. Tessmann, Prof. G. Klütsch und Prof. M. Spangenberg an der HfM „Hanns Eisler“ Berlin. Er ist Mitglied des Berolina Ensembles und Mitbegründer des Xylinos Quintett sowie von Opera Lab Berlin. Seit 2021 ist er Mitglied der KAP. Link

Friedemann, born in Potsdam, studied classical percussion and timpani at the HfM "Hanns Eisler" Berlin as well as improvisation, solo percussion and composition. Link

Jan began his studies with Volkmar Besser at the HfM Hanns Eisler Berlin, played in the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and was a scholarship holder at the Villa Musica Chamber Music Academy. He is a founding member of the KAP. Link

Jule comes from Schleswig Holstein and studied with Jens Peter Maintz at the UdK Berlin, completing a baroque cello master's degree in early music continuo. She plays with the Lauttencompagney, the Ensemble Elbipolis and the Belgian orchestra Le Concert Olympique, among others. 

Julita, born in Wroclaw/Poland, studied in Warsaw, Vienna and Berlin with Eduard Melkus, Eberhard Feltz and Ilan Gronich. In Vienna she played in the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and the Capella Academica. She developed a special interest in historical performance practice. Link

Julius, born in Aachen, studies clarinet at the HfM "Hanns Eisler" Berlin with Prof. M. Spangenberg and Prof. R. Forster. He gained orchestral experience in the LJO Baden-Württemberg, the Bundesjugendorchester, the jnp, the Konzerthausorchester, the RSB Berlin and the Kammerphilharmonie Bremen. Link

Nika, born in Slovenia, studied cello in Klagenfurt, Austria and with Thomas Kaufmann and Valentin Radutiu at the HfMT in Rostock. She is a founding member of the Furiant Quartet. Link

Omer, born in Israel, studied with Michael Lam, Meirav Kadishevsky and Dudu Carmel and gained orchestral experience with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and at the "Barenboim-Said Akademie" in Berlin with Prof. Gregor Witt, among others. Link

Thomas is a founding member of the KAP and has performed with the Ensemble Oriol Berlin, the German Chamber Virtuosi and on period instruments with the Lauttencompagney Berlin, among others. Link
