Once again, 1:1 CONCERTS will be a guest at the Spanish DeltaChamber Music Festival, which this year takes place from July 21 to August 4 in Terres de l'Ebre, Catalonia. Under the theme “Mosaic”, the festival will feature a special concert program in unique venues in Amposta, Ulldecona, Deltebre, Flix, Roquetes and Horta de Sant Joan.
The Delta Chamber Soloists have once again come together for this festival around clarinettist Laura Ruiz Ferreres, who also took part in the first 1:1 concerts in 2019 in the Volkenroda Monastery in Thuringia, to offer a varied program with chamber music concerts, workshops, a young talent academy and many 1:1 CONCERTS.
This year, the 1:1 CONCERTS will take place with a special focus on the members of the Associació de Familiars de Malalts d'Alzheimer del Montsià (AFAM), the association of relatives of Alzheimer's patients, who will be able to enjoy an exceptional, inclusive musical experience. Knowing that music can have an extremely positive effect on the brain and general well-being, we hope that these small, personal and intimate concerts will have an impact.
