The Laufenburg BLIND DATE 2020: 1 artist, 1 host, 1 listener (or spectator). On Friday 7 August 2020, many extraordinary 1:1 blind date encounters will take place in the idyllic little town of Laufenburg on the banks of the Rhine. The twin town on the Rhine - the Swiss and German Laufenburg - is emblematic of flowing borders. Unfortunately, the festival of the same name had to be postponed this year due to Corona. But just in time for the reunion of the cross-border cultural committee, up to 96 admission-free surprise encounters will be offered in Laufenburg on 07.08.2020 between 6 pm and midnight.
At several different venues in Laufenburg, a wide variety of artists - authors, musicians, cabaret artists and many more - will be waiting for a single person - each waiting for a single visitor. For ten minutes at a time, they will play, sing or read during this encounter.
