We are thrilled to announce, that Washington National Opera is the first American partner of 1:1 CONCERTS. This past weekend in the REACH at the Kennedy Center, WNO General Director Timothy O’Leary and Principal Conductor Evan Rogister hosted the initial series of concerts, featuring musicians from the Washington National Opera Orchestra. They are rolling out these intimate musical experiences as a thank you both to front-line workers in their community and to WNO donors for their hugely appreciated support of their artists in this challenging year. Pictured are Violinist Karen Lowry-Tucker and Cellist Ignacio Alcover of the WNO Orchestra and Chandra Burnside, a Registered Nurse with the Virginia Hospital Center.

Stay tuned for more details about future concerts!
