Open Stage for the 1:1 FESTIVAL at the Kulturinsel Stuttgart on 25.9.

Before the summer break, Stuttgart celebrated the first birthday of the 1:1 CONCERTS with a big 1:1 FESTIVAL – 500 1:1 encounters at 25 venues all over the city to support the freelance artists. On 25 September, the participants will come together once again at the Kulturinsel Stuttgart (KIS) – the headquarters of the 1:1 FESTIVAL with three venues – there will be an OPEN STAGE to celebrate artistic diversity and a new strong team spirit.

For the 1:1 FESTIVAL, an unprecedented “ensemble” of Stuttgart’s cultural organisations and the independent scene was formed – consisting of artists from the KV Wagenhallen e.V., actors and dancers from the FTTS, the Stuttgart State Ballet, the SWR Symphony Orchestra and the Stuttgart State Orchestra, singer-songwriters from the Pop Bureau and jazz musicians from the BIX. It was overwhelming to see how beautifully the festival represented Stuttgart’s cultural strength with everyone gathering behind a solidary idea. It is with team spirit and joint forces that we offer our audience powerful artistic venues notwithstanding pandemic restrictions and at the same time raising donations for freelance colleagues.

In order to carry this unique energy further and let everyone share in the creative power of the city of Stuttgart, the Kulturinsel Stuttgart (KIS) is organising an OPEN STAGE on its open-air stage with many participants from the core ensemble – where else can classical music be experienced alongside pop, artistry and performance at this level?

A very warm welcome to everyone on 25.9.21 at 19:30 in the Kulturinsel Stuttgart Güterstraße 4, 70372 Stuttgart
