The 1:1 CONCERTS offer unusual musical encounters in unusual places in the form of a special concert experience for the benefit of the Emergency Fund of the German Orchestra Foundation (Nothilfefonds der Deutschen Orchesterstiftung).

In order to find extraordinary and inspiring locations for this project in the greater Main area, many museums in Frankfurt immediately agreed to become partners of 1:1 CONCERTS following an appeal by the Frankfurt Opera.

Among them are the Deutsche Architekturmuseum (DAM), the DFF- Deutsche Filminstitut und Filmmuseum, the Hindemith Institut Frankfurt, the Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung and the Städel Museum.

Within the framework of the 1:1 CONCERTS, at each 10 min concert one musician of the Frankfurt Opera and Museum Orchestra will meet one listener. An opening eye contact is the impulse for a very personal concert – an unusual, but intense experience for both sides, enabling proximity despite the physical distance. Which musician and which music the participants will encounter comes as a surprise. The only information the listeners have beforehand is the venue date and time of the encounter. With this format, small and very individual live concerts can be created in compliance with all official requirements of the Corona regulations.

The available dates, all through the month of June, can be found on the Website of Oper Frankfurt
